Known for his warm, lyrical sound and strong melodic sensibility rooted in the language of Stan Getz and Lester Young, Jeremy Sandfelder is a French/American jazz saxophonist, clarinetist, composer and educator based in Montreal since 2014. A deeply passionate admirer of the jazz tradition, Sandfelder channels the many predecessors of his instruments from the swing era onwards with poise and elegance. His exceptional musicality and virtuosity together with his versatility as a woodwind multi-instrumentalist have made Sandfelder into a prominent emerging artist on the Montreal jazz scene.
